This beautiful tropical location is the perfect place to dive into our exploration of Lu Jong Tibetan Healing Yoga, an ancient practice deeply rooted in Nature and Tibetan Medicine.

More about Lu Jong

The Lu Jong practice is a series of body movements that developed more than 8000 years ago in Tibet. Considered both a secret and a precious teaching, it was originally taught to only 1 person in a generation and the lineage from teacher to student is still intact to this day.

 

Through the combination of position, movement and breath, Lu Jong opens the channels in the body and nourishes the nervous system. It increases mobility in the spine, boosts organ function, increases energy and stamina, and calms the mind. In this way, the practice of Lu Jong helps to cultivate balance on the physical, mental and energetic levels.

In this retreat you will learn the 21 Movements of Lu Jong in the lineage of Tulku Lobsang as well as details about general Tibetan medicine concepts and Buddhist philosophy. This includes

  • Group of 5 Movements for the functioning of the vital organs

  • Group of 6 Movements for addressing common ailments

Arrival and Departure Information

ARRIVAL

September 15: Fly into Fa'a'a International Airport (Tahiti International Airport or PPT)

Relax and stay the evening in the comfortable Airport Hotel on Tahiti Island.

September 16: Take the short ferry ride to Moorea where we will pick you up and take you to the retreat location.

DEPARTURE

September 23: 2pm Checkout. We will take you to the ferry returning to Tahiti Island. Depending on your flight time, you may wish to relax at the Airport Hotel for the evening.
