I hope you've taken the time to breathe today.
Like, a deep inhale to fill the lungs and a full exhale to empty them.
If not, now would be a great time.
Go ahead. I'll wait.
Now that we've all arrived together:
Welcome to my webpage. This site encompasses a variety of creative projects that focus around sustainable, inspired, empowered, and embodied ways of exploring health, wellness, and self-care. It is my belief that medicine is not simply something you consume to feel better or a short lived prescriptive activity.
Medicine is a way of life.
Being healthy means finding balance in our bodies, minds, and spirits. Here you will find tools to assist you in living a happier, healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
I was born under the Rocky Mountain bluebird skies of Colorado and raised on the shimmering shores of Maui, HI. In 2012, I lived in Kathmandu, Nepal where I studied Buddhist Studies at Rangjung Yeshe Institute. I graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.A. in Anthropology and Religious Studies with a focus in Ethnobotany and Buddhism in 2014.
Since graduating from college, I have undertaken herbal medicine studies in the PNW and Hawaii. I have been a dancer my whole life, with over 20 years of ballet training and a decade of performance experience.
Most recently I have begun the study of hula under Kumu Mapuana Samonte. I completed my Lu Jong 1 Tibetan Healing Yoga Teacher Certification in summer 2018 and am eager to share this beautiful movement form with my community.
When I'm not in the studio dancing or wandering through fields of wildflowers talking to plants, you can find me playing ukulele, creatively cooking vegan and vegetarian meals, brewing herbal elixirs, diving, surfing, kite surfing, or riding my motorcycle to the edges of known reality.
And yes, I am a Libra.
